Preschool. Oh, it just makes my heart sing. My children are past the preschool stage by far, but I have not forgotten how sweet that time was! Suggestions for an Excellent Preschool "World"

• Books, books, books! And we say again. BOOKS!
• Little or no real TV; very selective use of DVD/video.
• Quality toys that challenge the imagination. Heirloom Wooden Toys are a perfect choice. (We have a nice box of wooden trains that I know will be passed on to my grandchildren!)
• The means for imaginative play. My children could play for hours with a few dress-up clothes and a large, empty refrigerator box.
