Our Study of Paul Revere's Ride and The Hatmaker's Sign

July 2003
Lesson Plans from Five In A Row

We had SO much fun with these books. We happen to live in a historic town, with plenty of Revolutionary War historic sites, so we took a tour of our own town and some of the historic buildings. At one place we were able to buy some toys fashioned after colonial toys. They were displayed on our learning table along with books and maps and other items.

Are far as memory-making, I try to put a little bit of everything we do into scrap books, so I will show you how we displayed our pictures from our Colonial Times study.

We really enjoyed the learning table that was set up for these two books.

We put my daughter's hair in "rag curls" during our colonial times study!

Here is the way our scrap book pages usually look.
