Medicine of the 1700s
We use Beyond Five in a Row for lesson plans. In addition, we are part of a co-op of homeschools that all use Five in a Row and Beyond Five in a Row. I was a co-teacher for one of the co-ops and planned my portion of the class on medicine in the 1700s, with a heavy emphasis on plants in medicine.
For every co-op that I teach, I love to make cue cards on tags, which I then laminate and put on a metal ring so that we have review cards from that co-op. I've included links to all of the cards that I did. If you want to print them, just click on a link below, under co-op cards, and then print. You can always choose "print preview" first and "shrink to fit" the page so that it prints just right on a 9 x 11 sheet of paper. Then you can cut the cards out and keep as is or laminate a set. You can also just use them for ideas to put together your own co-op! The cards usually turn out well printed in either color or black and white (to save ink).
